Rozyhip - Gemstone Collection

Eight jewel-tone magnetic gels in a spectrum of colours inspired by raw gemstones hewn straight from the earth. Each richly pigmented, glassy gel is filled with both a satin magnetic powder and a fine glitter in the corresponding colour for a multifaceted twinkling shift. The Gemstone collection is incredibly versatile; wear each colour in isolation or layer them over glitter and chrome to create stunning nuanced aesthetics. There’s nothing “semi” precious about this collection.

RM03 - A pink-toned ruby red, think Dorothy’s slippers and valentines greeting cards.

RM04 - An orange-toned garnet red, think deep amber tortoiseshell and glowing embers.

RM05 - A fresh emerald green, think washed up sea-glass and sun dappled forest floor.

RM06 - A vivid teal, think ornate turquoise jewelry and deep open water.

RM07 - An uplifting amethyst purple, think beautifully symmetrical orchid petals and ripe figs.

RM08 - A romantic cerise pink, think grenadine cocktails and freshly cut dragon fruit.

Artist Tips

When using magnetic gels, try to avoid getting too many brush strokes as this can effect the freeflowing movement of the particles and disturb their arrangement.

With bottled magnetic gels such as these, always apply the product using light pressure by floating it down the nail, to avoid brush strokes.

To maximise this collection and achieve the brightest pigment:

1. Apply 1 layer of your chosen colour over a clear base and magnetise to your desired arrangement, then cure for 60 seconds.

2. Apply a second layer, but demagnetise the particles by waving your magnet over the nail, revealing just the sheer glass gel colour, then cure for 60 seconds.
* The first magnetised layer should shine through the glassy gel in the corresponding colour.

3. Top coat.

These magnetic gels are superb for layering on top or underneath of others to achieve beautiful nuance effect nails:

1. To darken the pigment, you can layer your chosen colour over black gel.

2. Layer any of the Gemstone collection over a chunky glitter, such as Rozyhip’s RG01 or RM01, for a glittering bejewelled aesthetic.

3. Layering any of the Gemstone collection over either opaque or sheer chrome, depending on the level of opacity you want to achieve, will achieve a gleaming metallic look.
