I don’t think the marketing photos show the variety of the gels in this collection. I was worried that they would all be silver cat eyes, but there is a really nice variety ranging from pale shimmery pink particles, champagne, pinkish/purple, and some silver. There is also a mix of super fine particles and fine, but shimmery/delicate twinkle effect particles which is especially nice with the tones of these polishes. They are also kind of milky in nature, so they work as a sheer shimmer layer over more intense base coats. That was actually my favorite way to use these. They give a very gentle, ethereal feel in combo with other polishes. Although some colors seem very similar, they actually differ in the type of magnetic particle in them, so you tend to get a shimmer cat eye and a mirror-like cat eye in a similar color range (they’re not the exact same color base, though).
