Hello my lovely Broke Girls, I’m Ashley, the nail tech behind Broke Girl’s Nails! I was a chronic finger picker growing up, until I got my nails done for my wedding day. For the first time in my life, I stopped picking and I became a nail addict immediately! A year later, I had to move to Vancouver BC temporarily for my husband’s job — as a Broke Girl living in the most expensive city in Canada, I had to DIY my nails if I wanted to keep getting them done. What started as an unserious hobby quickly became a passion, and now it’s my big-girl job. I am now Scarborough’s first professional dual forms specialist.
