Spring Nail Design Tutorial

Spring is just around the corner. What better way to welcome the new season than with a set of floral nails? Florals are a classic motif that are timeless yet endlessly adaptable. On nails, they can be repeated and reimagined in creative ways that feel fresh each season. Scroll on as we show you how to create a nuance floral design adorned with delicate details like fine glitter, dainty gold accents, and classic pearls that’s perfect for the spring season. It’s suitable for beginners to try, yet charming and intriguing for anyone who loves soft, elegant floral nails.

Designs for Thumb, Middle, and Ring Fingernails

After nail prep and base coat, apply two coats of By Muse BS01 or a similar milky white syrup gel color, curing for 60 seconds between each coat.

Wipe off the tacky inhibition layer with cleansing alcohol. 

Using a sponge, dab a dot of Liuhwa Grady L#117 onto the center of the nail, blending the color into a soft circular gradient. Cure for 60 seconds.

Apply Yogurt Nail glitter #03 to the center of the nail and use a liner brush or ombre brush to blend out the edges for a smooth transition. Cure for 60 seconds.

Paint two five-petal flowers using the Diami 13 Big Flower Brush with Mithmillo ArtFit AF01 white painting gel. Cure for 60 seconds.

Paint smaller petals between each petal of each flower. Cure for 60 seconds.

Apply Doi Matte Top Gel. Cure for 60 seconds. Next, use a thin liner brush to apply a dot of JIN.B Crazy Top Thick Gel at the center of each flower and paint a fine delicate line along the side of the nail curving across the tip end of the nail. Cure for 60 seconds. Apply gold chrome powder over the gel. Use a sponge to wipe off excess powder.

Use a liner brush with Mithmillo ArtFit AF01 white painting gel to paint fine delicate lines from the flowers towards the edge of the nail. Cure for 60 seconds.

Apply two small dots of JIN.B Crazy Top gel over the gold line. Place two flatback pearls over the gel. Cure for 60 seconds.

Apply top gel. Cure for 60 seconds.

Repeat the process on the middle and ring fingernails. Adjust the design as needed to suit the size and shape of each nail. The results should look something like this:

Designs for Pointer and Ring Fingernails

After prep and base, apply one coat of By Muse BS001. Cure for 60 seconds

Apply one coat of Yogurt Nail glitter #03. Cure for 60 seconds.

Apply Doi Matte Top Gel. Cure for 60 seconds. 

Use a thin liner brush to paint a fine delicate line from the side across the edge of the nail. Cure for 60 seconds.

Apply gold chrome powder over the gel. Use a clean sponge to wipe off excess powder.

Place a dot of JIN.B Crazy Top Gel over the gold line on one corner of the nail. Place a flatback pearl on the dot of gel. Cure for 60 seconds.

Apply top gel. Cure for 60 seconds.

Repeat the process on the pinky fingernail.The results should look something like this:
