We are excited to welcome Grara to Sweetie Nail Supply as one of our newest lineup of curated Taiwanese nail products.

GRARA was founded by nail artist Connor, who has over eight years of professional service and teaching experience in the nail industry. Connor began his career in Japanese-style nail salons in Taiwan, gaining specialized technical skills and service experience. He eventually became a brand instructor, and later, the founder of the GRACIAS Salon brand. Throughout his career, Connor observed a long-term and clear demand in both teaching and industry practice for “stable, practical products that truly consider the perspective of nail technicians.” To meet this demand, Connor devoted himself to the research, development, and production of GRARA products. 

The brand name GRARA originates from the Portuguese word for “graceful” or “elegance.” GRARA represents the journey of creation, entrepreneurship, accumulated experience, and a commitment to excellence. More than a brand, GRARA is a state of being—choosing to do things well and continuing to refine and create even when unseen. This spirit reflects GRARA’s continuous investment in research and development, its unwavering commitment to quality, and its respect for professionalism. 

Over four years of research and development went into creating GRARA nail products, refined through use in teaching and salon practice. This long-term commitment and sense of responsibility ensure that GRARA products meet professional quality standards, support users in their craft, and drive the overall nail industry forward.

Taiwan’s nail culture has evolved from simple decoration into a blend of everyday wear and personal style. Generally, customers prefer designs that feel natural, thoughtfully detailed, and practical. Overall, the market reflects a diverse yet balanced aesthetic, combining sheer textures with Japanese-inspired artistic details, often referred to as nuance nail art.

GRARA products were created to cater to creative freedom and versatility. Rather than chasing market trends, GRARA prioritizes practical needs in product development. Manufactured in Japan, GRARA products follow its nail and cosmetic manufacturing system, which undergoes stringent requirements for raw material control, process management, and batch consistency to ensure stable product quality even under high-frequency use. The Japanese nail industry’s emphasis on detail and long-term reliability, rather than rapid innovation, aligns with GRARA’s focus on practical needs and its pursuit of products that stand the test of time. 

GRARA's two sub-brands, DOT and DELATRE, are rooted in the founder’s years of professional experience in salon and training programs. DOT embodies the research and production of Japanese-made nail products, designed for long-term and high-frequency use. DELATRE delivers products artists can use to express their creativity and elevate their designs.

Each DOT color derives from actual color usage data from salons. The development of colors starts with the most frequently chosen and practical colors by nail technicians, extending to color schemes suitable for all seasons, different skintones, and diverse styles. This process delivers colors that are data-driven for year-round use and formulated for stable, consistent application suited for beginners just learning or professional salon application. 

DOT gels deliver excellent color payoff. When applied, they produce smooth and even color with just a thin layer. They can be mixed with clear gel to adjust color intensity and translucency, creating sheer, soft, or layered effects, particularly suitable for natural styles, sheer designs, or nuance nail art.
